These are the terms which govern your participation in Ride Africa: Kenya 2019 (‘the Ride’). By completing your registration for the Ride you are agreeing to these terms which form a contract between you and Child.org International (‘Child.org’).

 

1. EVENT PARTICIPATION

1.1. Participation. Your registration entitles you to participate in the Ride and the package as described on the Ride Africa website. You are responsible for any and all other costs associated with your attendance (including travel, visa, insurance and vaccination expenses).

1.2. Media. By participating in the Ride you acknowledge and agree to grant Child.org the right to record, film, photograph or capture your likeness in any media and to use such media without any further approval from you.

1.3. Ride Content. You acknowledge and agree that Child.org reserves the right to change any aspects of the Ride, including but not limited to, the route, accommodation and equipment.

1.4. Insurance. You acknowledge and agree that Child.org is not responsible for organising your personal travel insurance during the Ride. Your registration commits you to organise your own travel insurance for the Ride and ensure that it is adequate for the country and the type of activities you will undertake during the Ride.

1.5. Termination. You acknowledge that Child.org reserves the right to request your removal from the Ride if Child.org considers your presence and/or behavior to create a disruption or to hinder the Ride and/or the enjoyment of the Ride by other participants.

2. FEE(S)

2.1. Payment. The payment of all fees for the Ride is due 100 days before the event start date. If such payment is insufficient or declined for any reason Child.org may refuse your participation in the Ride and shall have no liability in that regard.

3. Substitution and Cancellation policy

3.1 Individual cancellation. After registering for the Ride, if you cancel your participation before 100 days prior to the event start date your fee will be refunded less £100 to cover administration costs. If you cancel your participation within 100 days before the start of the event, Child.org cannot guarantee the refund of any of your fee if a refund would result in a loss for Child.org

3.2 Substitution. After registering for the Ride, if you cancel your participation Child.org will accept a substitution to take your place on the Ride.

3.3 Whole event cancellation. You acknowledge that Child.org reserve the right to cancel the Ride if they deem the Ride to be unsafe for themselves or for participants at any time. If Child.org are forced to cancel the Ride for reasons outside their control, including but not limited to political instability, natural disaster or terrorism, Child.org cannot guarantee the refund of any fees if a refund would result in a loss for Child.org. If this happens, Child.org will endeavour to offer all riders a place on a future ride.
